Hardywood's Independence Day Celebration will be open to the public, all ages with no entry fee. Bracelets will be available for people 21-years of age and over to purchase draft and cans.

Please come out and celebrate handmade bicycles, bicycling in general, great craft beer and beer making and all the cast of characters that come with each.
This event will showcase a combination of over 50 cycling advocates, vendors, Virginia breweries and fabricators at Hardywood, include all-inclusive sampling for guests, live music, film, food and demonstrations.
> Hardywood Bourbon DIPA is hopped with a heavy dose of Columbus, Cascade and Summit hops, fermented with an abbey ale yeast that imparts some subtle tropical fruit and peppery notes and conditioned twelve weeks in freshly emptied Virginia bourbon barrels from the A. Smith Bowman Distillery, where earthy, vanilla, toffee and bourbon notes lend an exquisite mellowness to Bourbon DIPA.

Join us in preparation for RVA IPA at our 2nd annual Hop Harvest. We're inviting all members of the Community Hopping Project to bring their homegrown hop cones this week (through Saturday) for inclusion in this season's batch.
Visit the tasting room between 2-9pm to catch a hop talk with head brewer Brian Nelson, education about hop bines, bring a contribution of hops (and your signature) for Sunday's brew, enjoy Boka Tako Truck and catch The Southern Belles of Richmond, VA at 6:30.

As we kick off the first official Virginia Craft Beer Month, join us for an afternoon of great tunes, delicious food and a celebration of the hop (the soul of every beer). This year, we're hoping to gather and sort hundreds of pounds of freshly harvested, Virginia grown hops for our community hopped beer, RVA IPA, which will be brewed within 24 hours of picking.
