Almost fifteen years ago, we opened the doors at Hardywood Richmond with a couple of tanks, a few homebrew-inspired recipes, and absolutely no idea how big this community would become. Fast forward to 2026, and it’s genuinely difficult to put into words what this milestone means to us. As we’ve grown and poured countless pints across Richmond, one thing remains unchanged: we couldn’t have done it without you, Richmond. Thank you for sharing your birthdays, family gatherings, major life milestones, and post-work beers with us.

On Saturday, October 10th, we’re taking over Hardywood Richmond for our 15th Anniversary Celebration. We’re leaning hard into nostalgia with a full Rewind to 2011 theme. We’re bringing back the scrappy, high-energy spirit of our very first year—back when Richmond’s craft beer scene was just taking off.

We’re bringing out everything you need for a Saturday in 2011:

Clear your schedule and save the date, dig through the back of your closet for your best early-2010s outfit (deep V-necks and bubble necklaces, anyone?), and text the crew you’ve been drinking beers with since day one.
